Telnyx Integration
Guide for integrating Telnyx with Voxia via SIP.
Prerequisites
- A Telnyx account
- Access to Telnyx Mission Control Portal
- Your Voxia account credentials
Step 1: Configure SIP in Voxia
- Go to the Integrations tab in Voxia
- Click
Connect
under SIP Integration - Configure your SIP with the following settings:
- URL: Choose the appropriate regional endpoint:
- US:
sip.telnyx.com
(Primary: 192.76.120.10) - Europe:
sip.telnyx.eu
(Primary: 185.246.41.140) - Australia:
sip.telnyx.com.au
(Primary: 103.115.244.145) - Canada:
sip.telnyx.ca
(Primary: 192.76.120.31)
- US:
- Port: 5060 (UDP/TCP) or 5061 (TLS)
- Username: Your Telnyx Credentials username
- Password: Your Telnyx Credentials password
- Enable SIP Diversion Header for authenticated outgoing calls
- URL: Choose the appropriate regional endpoint:
Step 2: Create Credentials in Telnyx
- Log in to your Telnyx Mission Control Portal
- Navigate to Voice > SIP Trunking > Credentials
- Click + Add New Credentials
- Configure the credentials:
- Set a descriptive name
- Note down the username and password
- Save your credentials
Step 3: Purchase and Configure Numbers
- In Telnyx Portal:
- Go to Numbers
- Click Search & Buy Numbers
- Purchase desired numbers
- For each number:
- Click on the number to configure
- Under Routing:
- Set Connection to your SIP trunk
- Configure failover options if needed
Step 4: Configure Numbers in Voxia
- Return to Voxia’s Integrations tab
- Go to the
Phone numbers
section - Click
Add SIP Numbers
- For each number:
- Enter the full E.164 format (e.g., +12025550123)
- Select “Telnyx” as the provider
- Enable “Use for outbound calls” if needed
Important Notes
- Regional Configuration: Choose the closest regional endpoint for optimal latency
- Transport Protocols: Telnyx supports UDP/TCP (5060) and TLS (5061)
- Failover: Configure both primary and secondary IPs for each region
- Authentication: Use username/password authentication
- Call Capacity: No limit on concurrent calls by default
For enhanced security and reliability:
- Enable TLS encryption when possible
- Configure both primary and secondary IPs
- Set up failover routing
- Monitor your connection status in Telnyx Mission Control
